You’re invited to our favourite time of year — when hundreds peony varieties burst into bloom and the Foothills turn into a sea of colour.
Join us for the 6th Annual Concert of Colours, a self-guided garden event where you can stroll through the fields, take all the photos your heart desires, and build your very own bouquet of fresh-cut peonies.
Whether you’re a long-time gardener, a curious newcomer, or just someone who loves a good flower selfie — this event is for you.

– Access to our blooming peony field
– Photo ops galore (bring your personal camera or phone!)
– A chance to chat with the peony expert himself, Adam Yakabuskie
– DIY Peony Bouquet: Pick 6 stems for $30 (cash only in-field)
✨ Featured favorites include the beloved Lemon Chiffon and Coral Sunset, but you’ll see hundreds of others, from classics to rare hybrids.
📍 Location: Parkland Peonies – Just outside Okotoks, AB. (You’ll receive a map + event details after registering.)
💡 Please note: no debit or credit in the field — bring cash for your bouquet or pre-order.
Pets are not permitted in the Peony Field.
📷 PHOTOGRAPHERS: If you're a professional photographer wanting to schedule a photo shoot for your family or other families or some products, please note that we don't allow photoshoots during open garden hours. Don't worry though! We've got you. There is a separate registration page to book professional photo shoot so we can give you ample space to do your shoot and also not disrupt others coming to walk the fields and enjoy the peonies.
